Sign boards designed and hand-painted/gilded for Logan Parlor, Chicago, 2023-2025.

I was asked to come up with a design solution to increase the visual impact of LP’s street presence. My recommendation was to add a new 1 x 12’ fascia sign board featuring the business’s name. I was asked to include a cutout sign of their slogan as well.

Fascia sign on aluminum composite panel—90% gray enamel background, 23k gold leaf letters with black shadows. I painted these in the studio and the client had them installed onsite. The custom lettering was adapted from their existing logo (seen in vinyl on the window below). 2023.

The business is expanding into the unit next door, so I was asked to come up with a signage solution for the entire facade in 2025.

Color added and new graphics designed for the windows and new fascia sign.

The new fascia sign was hand painted and gilded to compliment the existing fascia sign. Although a font from the client’s existing design package was used here, I added a custom hand-lettered swashy ampersand to visually tie the two sides together.
